Fall ‘21 - Artist Workplace

Location: Lincoln Union, The Warehouse District | Built Year: 1970 | Former Built Use: refrigerated distribution center owned by Pearce Beverage Co.

Warehouse District places a strong importance on historic preservation and contribution to our culture. What was once the economic core of Phoenix, the first stop for goods and products coming into the Valley, is becoming that economic core once again. From Bentley Gallery to the Arizona State University’s Grant Street Studios, the Warehouse District is the location for the creation and curation of visual arts. Creative class entrepreneurs are flocking here to grow their thriving businesses. The Warehouse district is attracting an eclectic collection of office spaces, restaurants, galleries, and one-of-a-kind venues for music and events. It’s more than a different side of the tracks–it’s a different side of Phoenix–and it’s gaining momentum.
